CIT works closely with industry, universities, and regional initiatives in the Commonwealth to build a statewide infrastructure and broadband strategy for innovation and entrepreneurship.

NVTC - The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) is the membership and trade association for the technology community in Northern Virginia. Army Women's Foundation - The Army Women's Foundation is the premier center for educational excellence, the national network for today's Army women and a dynamic advocate for telling the history of Army women.

The Army Women's Foundation is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization originally established in 1969. The mission of the U.S. Army Women's Foundation is to promote public interest in the Army and the women who serve in the Army. Through programs, research and scholarships, the Foundation recognizes and honors the service of Army women and supports the U.S. Army Women's Museum located at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Final Salute- Final Salute Inc. was founded in 2010 by a woman Veteran and cancer survivor who became aware of the large number of homeless women Veterans in the United States. The mission of Final Salute Inc. is to provide homeless female Veterans with safe and suitable housing. Final Salute Inc. is taking a three-pronged approach to addressing the issues associated with the homelessness of female Veterans: Awareness. Assistance. Aspiration.

Awareness: Bringing attention to the American people that homelessness among female Veterans is on the rise and their support needs are immediate.

Assistance: Providing housing/supportive services to homeless female Veterans and aiding in the prevention of homelessness for at-risk female Veterans.

Aspiration: Instilling in homeless female Veterans that their situations are temporary and their goals are still achievable.

Veteran Staffing Network - The Veteran Staffing Network is a social enterprise business developed by Easter Seals Serving DC | MD |VA that builds on our long experience in veteran employment programs. By focusing squarely on the individual needs of employers and veterans, we provide the best personal match for each position and the support our nation’s veterans need to successfully transition back to the civilian world. We leave no one behind. As a non-profit organization, we reinvest all revenues generated by the Veteran Staffing Network to provide crucial support services for veterans, wounded warriors, and their families.

Supporting Organizations
Alexandria/Arlington Workforce Investment Board - Five organizations are working together in a regional partnership, IT Jobs for Veterans, to connect Veterans who have recently finished their military service with careers in high-growth, high-demand Information Technology (IT) fields. Funded by a $150,000 Workforce Investment Act Rapid Response Assistance grant awarded to the Alexandria/Arlington Workforce Investment Board by Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell and Virginia’s Community College System, the partnership between Alexandria City, Arlington County, Virginia Employment Commission, Northern Virginia Community College, and Acentia, a private employer, is expected to serve more than 50 veterans over an 18 month period. All of the program’s education, certification, and job training activities are fully covered by this grant. American Red Cross in the National Capital Region - The American Red Cross in the National Capital Region serves the District of Columbia; cities of Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas City, Manassas Park and Alexandria and the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William in Virginia, and Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland. The Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.

Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA - Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA is the affiliate serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. For more than 75 years, we have been at the forefront of providing exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in our community. Our community-based programs are designed to support and strengthen families, enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities, create stronger communities, and reduce system-wide health care costs.

Professional Services Council- The Professional Services Council (PSC) is the national trade association of the government professional and technical services industry. In 2008, PSC and the Contract Services Association of America (CSA) merged to create a single, unified voice representing the full range and diversity of the government services sector. Solely focused on preserving, improving, and expanding the federal government market for its members, PSC is the most respected industry voice and leader on legislative and regulatory policy issues related to government procurement, outsourcing and related business policy. PSC helps shape public policy, leads strategic coalitions, and works to build consensus between government and industry PSC's more than 330 member companies represent small, medium, and large businesses that provide federal agencies with services of all kinds, including information technology, engineering, logistics, facilities management, operations and maintenance, consulting, international development, scientific, social, environmental services, and more. Together, the association's members employ hundreds of thousands of Americans in all 50 states.

The SkillSource Group - The SkillSource Group, Inc. is the non-profit arm and fiscal agent for the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board (NVWIB). Representing 1.9 million residents and thousands of businesses, SkillSource offers free employment and training services to job seekers, as well as to businesses seeking to hire and retain qualified workers within Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties. SkillSource provides targeted workforce services for local veterans designed to help build the skills local Northern Virginia employers are seeking, including individualized career counseling, training, job search assistance, and help with small business development.
